The Signing Ceremony of Malvern College Egypt.
Azazy Group launched Malvern College Egypt (MCE) in December 2014; the School started its first academic year in September 2016. A franchise of Malvern College UK, MCE will implement the same curricular as well as extracurricular activities as its mother organization. Prior to its launching, a gala dinner was held as a venue for MCE’s signing ceremony. The event was attended by top dignitaries from both Britain and Egypt. Among the British attendees were His Excellency John Casson, British Ambassador, Prince Michael of Kent, the cousin of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, members of the British Parliament as well as some of Britain’s best acting and musical talent such as actress Liz Hurley and singer Gabrielle, who provided the evening’s entertainment. Among the Egyptian dignitaries were the former First Lady, ministers, businessmen, the singer Amr Diab as well as actress Yousra and Omar El Sheirf.
MCE’s opening coincides with President El-Sisi’s announcement about the need to build an Egyptian society that: "Learns, thinks, and innovates", which is an accurate description of the role MCE will play.
