Dr. Hasan Azazy Founder of Azazy Group

The Late Dr. Hassan Azazy, renowned for his groundbreaking initiatives in education, was the visionary founder of Azazy Group. Since its inception, the Group became an icon of a leading educational hub. The year 1958 marks the establishment of what became the first of many schools that play an integral role in the Egyptian educational system.

A powerful advocate for excellence in teaching and research, Azazy’s vision included founding schools that met different occupational knowledge and skill development needs. Subsequently, Azazy committed his efforts to establishing different types of education, namely, Public Education Schools, Secondary Hotel & Tourism Schools (a three-year system), Secondary Business and Industrial Hotel Schools (a five-year system); in addition to industrial education in the field of computers; furthermore, keeping up with the then current international trends made him out to be a pioneer in vocational education. In addition, Azazy was known for his involvement in community service where he extended his support and played a critical role in the initiatives of the community’s educational well-fare.

In 2008, Dr. Azazy was awarded the Honorary Doctorate from the American World University for excellence in education.
